I bless the hoss from hoof to head -
From head to hoof, and tale to mane!

I bless the hoss, as I have said,
From head to hoof, and back again!

Misty Oct 08

Misty 6 month old QH filly, injured her hoof ripping off the layers of her hoof wall.

this picture was taken right after the owner and vet cleaned her up

Misty Dec 08

After 2 trims this is trim # 3 we have good growth coming down the hoof wall, everything is starting to close up.

Misty March 09 - 5 months after injury

Misty's injury has closed up and grown out nice, she has a nice thick hoof wall.

The goal now is to get the proper angle back, she started to get a tad "clubby", the heel is still high, but as you can see in the next photo it has the promise of opening back up.

Misty Sole Shot 3/09

There is nice growth over the open area, we have one little buldge yet to grow out. With regular trims we can get that heel open and back to where it was prior to the injury.
